    Prep

    • Cut the pork into 4 cm lengths. / • Julienne the onion and slice the green onions on the diagonal. / • Mix the marinade ingredients ahead.

    Add the marinade to the pork and marinate for 20 minutes.

    Heat the pan over medium-high.

    Add the pork, spread it out, and stir-fry.

    When the pork is about half cooked, add the onion and green onions.

    Stir-fry until the liquid cooks down and the sauce clings to the meat.

    Finish with the sesame oil.

  • A sugary marinade scorches easily, so adjust the heat at the end.

If it hasn't burned or stuck to the pan, it can still be fixed.

  • There is little liquid here, so water thins the meat flavor along with the salt. If it is too salty, stretch it with stock only, a little at a time.

Storage

Once cooked, keeps 3 days refrigerated. Can be frozen for 30 days.
