Sangchu-muchim (Seasoned Lettuce)

Stir-fried & braised · serves 2

How many servings?

How to make it

  1. 1

Wash the lettuce well and tear it into bite-size pieces by hand.

  2. 2

Combine the gochugaru, anchovy fish sauce, minced garlic, sugar, and vinegar into a dressing.

  3. 3

Just before serving, add the dressing to the lettuce and toss it gently.

  4. 4

Drizzle sesame oil around, add the whole sesame seeds, and it is done.

You can fix this

If it hasn't burned or stuck to the pan, it can still be fixed.

  • Too salty? Do not add water — it thins the sauce. Add more radish, potato, or onion instead and let them take up the salt.
