IllustrationOyster Mushrooms with Perilla Powder and Perilla Leaves
Stir-fried & braised · serves 4
How many servings?
How to make it
- 1
Tear the oyster mushrooms apart by hand and cut the perilla leaves into thin strips.
- 2
Film a pan with perilla oil and stir-fry the minced garlic and the mushrooms.
- 3
Once the mushrooms are cooked, add the water and ground perilla seeds and keep stirring until the mixture thickens.
- 4
Season it with guk-ganjang, add the perilla leaves, and stir them through for a moment longer.
- 5
Adjust the salt at the end and it is done.
You can fix this
If it hasn't burned or stuck to the pan, it can still be fixed.
- Too salty? Do not add water — it thins the sauce. Add more radish, potato, or onion instead and let them take up the salt.
