Dumplings & street food · serves 4
How many servings?
How to make it
- 1
Steam the mandu in a steamer for 8 to 10 minutes.
- 2
Heat cooking oil in a pan and stir-fry the minced garlic and doubanjiang to bring out a spicy aroma.
- 3
Add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, vinegar, gochugaru, and water, and bring it to a boil.
- 4
Add the starch slurry a little at a time to thicken the sauce to the right consistency.
- 5
Pour the sauce over the steamed mandu and scatter the green onion on top to serve.
You can fix this
If it hasn't burned or stuck to the pan, it can still be fixed.
- If the filling is too salty, work in tofu or rice. You cannot add water to a filling, so you make more of it to dilute the seasoning.
