How to make it
- 1
Put the milk, sugar and potato starch in a pot, turn on the heat and stir constantly over low heat until it thickens.
- 2
Pour into a glass dish, let it cool, cover and set in the fridge for 3 hours.
- 3
Once set, cut it carefully with a knife.
- 4
Stir the frying mix with one cup of water, dip the pieces of set milk in it, coat in breadcrumbs and fry in 350°F (170°C) oil for 2 minutes, just until the outside is cooked.
- 5
Good dipped in condensed milk. Roasted soybean powder or powdered sugar on top is also nice.
You can fix this
If it hasn't burned or stuck to the pan, it can still be fixed.
- If the filling is too salty, work in tofu or rice. You cannot add water to a filling, so you make more of it to dilute the seasoning.
