How to make it
- 1
Butter the insides of the molds generously with room-temperature butter and put 2 prunes in each.
- 2
Mix the eggs, sugar, and salt without working in any foam.
- 3
Sift in the cake flour and mix until smooth.
- 4
Mix in the milk and heavy cream a little at a time, then add the rum and vanilla paste.
- 5
Strain it and rest it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- 6
Pour the batter into the molds and bake in an oven preheated to 350°F (180°C) for 25 to 30 minutes, until the tops are a deep golden brown.
- 7
Let them cool until lukewarm, then take them out of the molds.
You can fix this
If it hasn't burned or stuck to the pan, it can still be fixed.
- If the batter or cream is stiff, add milk a little at a time; if it is loose, add flour the same way. Once it has set, it cannot be adjusted.
