Ingredients

  • Mala sauce1 Tbsp
  • Doubanjiang (fermented broad bean paste)1 Tbsp
  • Oyster sauce2 Tbsp
  • Chili oil5 Tbsp
  • Water4 cups
  • Assorted mushrooms
  • Ham
  • Sausage
  • Noodles or sujebi dough
  • Lettuce
  • Peanut butter
  • Assorted mushrooms — as needed
  • Ham — as needed
  • Sausage — as needed
  • Noodles or sujebi dough — as needed
  • Lettuce — as needed
  • Peanut butter — optional

How to make it

    Heat 5 tbsp of chili oil in a pan, add 1 tbsp of doubanjiang and fry briefly.

    Add 2 tbsp of oyster sauce and fry again.

  3. 3

    Add about 4 cups of water and 1 tbsp of mala sauce and bring to a boil.

  4. 4

    Add the mushrooms first and simmer.

  5. 5

    Add the ham, sausage and noodles or sujebi and simmer.

  6. 6

    Lettuce and the like are good added too.

  7. 7

    Fish out the mushrooms first and eat.

  8. 8

    Adding peanut butter makes it nutty.
