Oi-muchim (Seasoned Cucumber)

Stir-fried & braised · serves 2

How many servings?

How to make it

  1. 1

Slice the cucumber thin and salt it for about 10 minutes.

  2. 2

Squeeze the salted cucumber lightly to get the water out.

  3. 3

Add the soy sauce, ground toasted sesame salt, and sesame oil and work them in with your fingers.

  4. 4

Put it in a bowl and serve it right away.

You can fix this

If it hasn't burned or stuck to the pan, it can still be fixed.

  • Too salty? Do not add water — it thins the sauce. Add more radish, potato, or onion instead and let them take up the salt.
