How to make it

    Wash the romaine lettuce well, cut it into easy pieces, and dry it completely.

    Mix the mayonnaise, minced garlic, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, olive oil, salt, and pepper to make the Caesar dressing.

    Cook the bacon until crisp and crumble it.

    Toss the romaine with the dressing and top with the croutons and bacon.

    Grate plenty of parmesan over the top and serve.

You can fix this

If it hasn't burned or stuck to the pan, it can still be fixed.

  • Too salty? Let it down with water or stock a little at a time — add too much at once and you overshoot the other way.
